Prices for the BMW M4 begin at $149,900, which is the starting point for the entry-level six-speed manual variant. There are a number of other models available, mostly coupes, however, the top-spec M4 is the Competition M Xdrive, which will set you back at least $176,900 before on-road costs. Prices quoted are based on BMW's Suggested Retail Price, which means you should have some scope to negotiate, but you'll also need to factor in additional costs for registration, stamp duty and dealer delivery charges.
Make no mistake, the BMW M4 is a true gem in automotive field, not only for its bombastic performance on the road, but also on account of its build quality and sheer luxury. This of course also extends to the high levels of reliability on offer, with the M4 among the most dependable cars on the market, which one should probably expect at this price-point. Like any car in the BMW M Series, the M4 is astoundingly fast. However, it's not just sheer aggression, this unit also boasts poise and finesse, even with all its power. BMW quotes an acceleration time of around 3.8 to 3.9 seconds for 0 to 100 km/h, while the top speed of the M4 handily passes 300 km/h. What's more, the M4 has an impressive record around the infamous Nürburgring track, so to describe this as anything other than fast would be a disservice to this champion car.
