Bentley has never been a high volume make of car in Australia, which shouldn't come as a surprise given the price-point of this luxury marque. Nonetheless, in recent years the ultra-premium brand has been selling in the vicinity of 150-200 cars per annum, although the company's most-recent results were impacted bu supply chain constraints and stock shortages when it came to its Bentayga SUV.
The experts will debate over this one, but in our view, the Bentley Continental certainly ticks all the boxes to make supercar status, at least in the top-spec GT version. This is an ultra high-end car that has been built to the highest standards, fittest with the most divine materials, and boasting incredible performance. Around 2010/2011, Bentley made its first significant redesign of the Continental since it was first launched in 2003.
