Find out the Audi Q8 2019 price today!
It may surprise many, but the Audi Q7 is fractionally bigger than the Q8, which goes against the trend many have come to expect in terms of naming conventions and a vehicle's place in the pecking order. Nonetheless, both these units are mid-sized SUVs sharing the same architecture platform, with minimal difference between the duo. The Q7 is a couple inches longer and taller than its peer in the Q8, however, the Q8 does pack in an extra inch when it comes to width. The Q7 manages to squeeze in a third row to cater for up to seven occupants, while the Q8 makes do with seating for five, prioritising comfort instead.
For the latest Audi Q8, you can expect prices to begin from just shy of the $130,000 mark. That will land you the Q8 50 TDI Quattro mild-hybrid electric vehicle, however, this unit is anything but entry-level in reality. In fact, there isn't much variation across the Q8 range, all are mild-hybrids, with each variant priced at a similar level. They each boast the same features, more or less, with the exception of some extras here and there, reserved for the S Line edition.
Buyers of the Audi Q8 may come across a variant dubbed the S Line, however, this is largely in keeping with the Q8, plus a few extra niceties thrown in for good measure. As you might know, the Audi Q8 is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV, the flagship name in the German auto-maker's SUV line-up. First launched in 2018, the Q8 is available with the S Line style package, which adds bonuses like 21-inch bi-colour wheels, Singleframe grille mask, as well as S Line exterior kit, fender badges and illuminated door-sill plates. This variant is generally a couple thousand dollars above the standard versions of the Q8.
Love them or loathe them, SUVs aren’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean you’re limited to just one type or format of vehicle. In this instance, the 2019 Audi Q8 55 TFSI is the first attempt by Audi to bring a more fashion-forward coupé SUV to market to play alongside the more sensible and practical Q7 range. Of course, that mea...
View ReviewTo say that the new Audi Q8 drives like a sports car might be a bit of stretch, but the butch German SUV gives the idea a good nudge. Based on the same MLB evo architecture that underpins the Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne, the Audi Q8 has sporty genetics and is an entertaining steer. The German SUV's nose tips eagerly into corners, the adaptive coil s...
View ReviewThe Audi Q8 is a big luxury SUV that is aimed at people who just don’t need a seven-seater, and are more focused on style than outright practicality. It’s essentially a competitor to the likes of the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, though the design of the Q8 isn’t as exaggeratedly swoopy as those two. In fact, you might prefer to consider how it lines u...
View ReviewSedate styling on the outside, an undeniably upmarket yet ageing interior design, and the typically comfort-focused ride and handling setup one expects from a big seven-seat premium SUV. That's the nearly four-years-old, second-generation Q7 – previously the leader of Audi's SUV range, now second fiddle to the all-new 2019 Audi Q8 that goes on sale in Austra...
View ReviewDoes anyone need an SUV as big as the 2019 Audi Q8? Of course not, but it exists, and Audi has positioned it in a rather tempting position for an SUV-hungry market. At a starting price of $128,900, and just a smidge under $140,000 as tested, the premium SUV is almost $100,000 cheaper than its equivalent in the Audi A8 range. The car we tested was fitted with...
