Find out the Audi A3 2016 price today!
Hatchbacks might not be as popular as they once used to be, but the Audi A3 is an excellent unit that has all the potential to tempt new car buyers back into the segment. Not only bigger than it looks, the A3 oozes sophistication and class. If a hot hatch isn't quite what you're after though, there is still good news, because the A3 is also available as a sedan and convertible. After multiple generations of the A3, Audi has found a tried and true formula that has caught on with its legion of enthusiasts. It is a successful formula because this is one exemplary car.
While the reliability of the Audi A3 is at the upper end of the spectrum, there is some variation across the model range, largely depending on the engine you opt for. Diesel variants have surprisingly fared a little better than the petrol variants, although it's still worth noting that the Audi brand, and the longevity of the A3, which has been in the market for some time now, are certainly aligned with the premium status of this car. Furthermore, a longstanding history and common architecture across Volkswagen and Skoda cars means you'll have no issues sourcing parts.
While it might not stand up to a Porsche or Ferrari in the luxury stakes, the Audi A3 is still very much a premium car. There may be some overlap as far as the parts used in the Audi A3 and other more affordable vehicles on the market including the VW Golf, however, there is a discernible difference in quality when you take into account the finishes and materials used, performance traits and tweaks, and the depth of overall amenity thanks to all the added sophisticated features. There is no doubting the quality and refinement here.
Audi A3 2.0 TFSI quattro Road Test While it’s a perfectly capable sedan, this top-spec A3 doesn’t deliver on the promise inherent in its $62,650 price tag. Despite standout features like unique, customisable drive settings and a flawless idle-stop system, the car lacks a wow factor, both in its aesthetics and its behind the wheel experience. There’s a certai...
View ReviewYou know when you reckon you've got the room, you've got some great stories in the chamber and everyone's looking at you and then someone else walks in. That someone else has an effortless style and sophistication, doesn't try too hard, just looks great all the time? BMW and Mercedes know that person. It's called the Audi A3. It outsells the BMW 1 Series by...

View ReviewMEET “the electric car that doesn’t look like one”. Audi’s words, not mine. But the more I look at my freshly arrived A3 e-tron, the more it looks like any other Audi A3. All the sheet metal is shared, as is the glasshouse. It’s as plain as Jane has ever been. Under the skin, though, there’s plenty of electric cleverness going on. Life’s particularly busy u...
