Find out the Abarth 124 2020 price today!
Yes, Abarth is Fiat's premium brand. The two are tied together by way of the cars that Fiat produces, which Abarth then modifies to provide performance improvements. With this in mind, if you are looking for a stylish yet modestly-priced vehicle with Italian auto influence, the Fiat brand will cover your needs. If you'd like to extract a little more performance out of those same vehicles, not to mention a more sporty and aggressive design focus, then the premium Abarth marque is well worth a look.
Sadly, it was a short but fun life for the Abarth 124, which has been farewelled from the Australian new car market. Based on the highly-popular Mazda MX-5, yet adorning an Italian makeover and the precision power Abarth has become synonymous for delivering, the 124 Spider is no more. This is one unit that will be sorely missed from our shores given its high credentials and the rare crossover-blend between Japanese and Italian auto manufacturing. Nonetheless, Abarth does have some other wonderful models on the market if you're looking for something unique.
The Abarth 124 Spider was a performance version of the Fiat 124 Spider, itself a fusion of Italian and Japanese auto expertise. The car was a joint collaboration between Mazda and Fiat, with Abarth also lending its hand as far as the final specs for tuning and tweaking of the performance attributes. Mazda was the manufacturer of the Spider on behalf of Fiat Chrysler, which more recently became rebranded as Stellantis. Launched in 2016, and based on the MX-5, the Abarth 124 Spider was discontinued down under in late 2020.
